Xenoblade Chronicles 2 How to Earn Money Guide

Money is a fairly big part of life in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and just like the XP side of things, money is also largely tied to combat. Throughout the extensive tutorial section of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you'll be steadily amassing trinkets and objects, that you can then all sell off when you reach the town of Torigoth, in Gormott Province.

The town of Torigoth is filled with merchants.

Remember Torigoth, as it's going to be your main source of income for selling off all the items you save up from the battlefield. Gormott Province is an excellent place to grind for both XP and gear for, the latter of which you can then take to Torigoth and then sell to any of the merchants located just inside Torigoth Arch. Simply head out into the surrounding area from Torigoth, and take down any enemies that are near the level of Rex.

We'd recommend staying away from enemies that are underleveled compared to your party, as they won't provide much loot or money, and also enemies that outrank your party, as all you're going to do is set yourself back. Make sure you're constantly going up against enemies that'll test the mettle of your party, and you'll have gained large amounts of money and resources to sell in next to no time.

There aren't many sure ways of earning large quantities of money fairly quickly in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as most are basically tied to combat. It's therefore going to be quite a long grind to obtain a healthy amount of money for your party, but we'd say that once you've crossed over the 20,000 threshold, you're into some sustainable territory.

Now that we're done with the best methods to earn money in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, why not continue ahead to our additional guides on the game, including how to master the Xenoblade combat system, on top of how to use the Poppiswap upgrade system.
