If you need anything else to do with Far Cry 5, including how to get to grips with the hectic and messy combat system of the game, as well as how to unlock every available Gun and Fang for Hire out there in Montana, head over to our complete Far Cry 5 guides hub.
Far Cry 5 Live Events Guide
Bring up the main pause menu of Far Cry 5 by pressing Options on the Dualshock 4 or Select on the Xbox One controller, and scroll over to the ‘Online’ tab, where you’ll find the Live Events, Arcade, and Co-Op sections ready to go. The Live Events tab of Far Cry 5 only went live on April 3, and we can expect new live events to come around once every week on the Tuesday.
Far Cry 5 Well Done Challenge Guide
For the debut Live Event in Far Cry 5, dubbed the 'Well Done' challenge, you’ll actually need to kill a total of 20 animals anywhere in the game with fire, but without setting them on fire by either using molotov cocktails or the flamethrower, meaning you can't simply head to a weapons vendor and spend $2,300 on purchasing yourself a shiny new flamethrower.
This means that you’ve got to get creative to find a way to set animals on fire without using conventional methods. What you want to do in this situation is resort to using flame arrows to kill animals via fire. It’s not a quick process by any means, and we’d recommend travelling either into John or Jacob’s territory, to find animals like deer and cows roaming around as often as possible.
If you go back to the Live Events section of the pause menu in Far Cry 5, you’ll see that there are milestone and progression markers for both your personal progression and the Far Cry community progression for completing the Well Done challenge, which as of April 4 has been completed.
As you make your way up the personal progression marker, you’ll be rewarded with Silver Bars for making it halfway to 20 total kills, and if you complete the Well Done challenge, you’ll be rewarded with a Prestige flamethrower called Flamebearer.
