Zelda Breath of the Wild Usurper King - How to get Zant’s Helmet in the BOTW Champions’ Ballad DLC

This is our guide on how to get started with the Zelda Breath of the Wild Champions' Ballad DLC pack.

Zant's Helmet is one of the rarer items that you can obtain in The Champions' Ballad DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but it's pretty tough to find. In this Zelda Breath of the Wild Zant's Helmet guide, we'll be detailing how to find Zant's outfit in Zelda Breath of the Wild, so you can track the helmet down as easily as possible.

Zelda Breath of the Wild Zant’s Helmet

Unlike the story-related quests in the new DLC Pack 2, you can kick off the EX: Treasure Usurper King quest any time once you’ve installed the new Champions’ Ballad DLC Pack 2, regardless of whether you’ve yet conquered all four Divine Beasts scattered throughout Hyrule.

First of all, you’ll need to head to Deya Village Ruins, which you can reach by paragliding west and slightly south of Dueling Peaks Tower. Here, you’ll want to find Misko’s Journal in a derelict house within the village ruins, and you can find the journal buried underneath a fallen wooden beam, within a house on the outskirts of the waterlogged village ruins.

The description for the location of Zant’s Helmet reads “In the swamp of the valley of dead trees, south of Dueling Peaks”. You can now warp to either Dueling Peaks Tower, or Shee Vaneer Shrine, provided you’ve already discovered the latter location. From either of these locations, you can paraglide south in the direction of Tobio’s Hollow, and you’ll want to make sure you’re approaching the hollow from the north.

When you’re reached Tobio’s Hollow from the north, you’ll find yourself looking down on a lake of mud, with islands dotted around the hollow. You’ll want to aim for the island on the very west of the hollow, a small area of land with two dead trees on it. Paraglide down to the small island, and use your Magnesis Rune to uncover a chest disguised in the moss covering the island.

Pull the chest out of the ground with the Magnesis Rune, and you’ll find the Zant’s Helmet item within, bringing the EX: Treasure Usurper King quest to a close. The Zant’s Helmet item actually provides a nice bonus of making Link unfreezable, which is great for when you’re taking on pesky ice enemies like Keeze found in mountains, or Lizalfos archers with ice arrows.

Now that we’re all done with this guide on how to obtain Zant’s Helmet, why not check out our other guides on The Champions’ Ballad DLC Pack 2, including how to complete Champion Urbosa’s Song quest, or how to find the Phantom Ganon Armor.
