Tim Schafer talks Cotsume Quest in new video, likes new studio format
Double Fine releases Costume Quest next week, and to get you in the mood for it, there's a video featuring Tim Schafer and lead artist Tasha Harris below along with a a game video.
It looks like it's really a fun little PSN game, and was created by one four different teams in at the studio, which was a move Schafer said worked out really well since the firm shifted focus to downloadable titles.
"I already know. I already love it," said Schafer to Gamasutra regarding the division. "I already love my position of being, instead of the bottleneck that everyone was waiting for... I am now being a helper. Everyone's working. I'm not stopping it from working.
"I like already the stability it brings us of having four revenue streams from different companies, instead of one. Just from a business sense, it's more calming to know that if one hose shuts off, there's other... It's like having an airplane with four engines, one of them can blow up and you can still stay in the air."
Costume Quest, the firm's first digital-only title hits PSN and XBL on October 20 for $15.
