Psychonauts 2 crowdfunding campaign launches on Fig with $3.3 million goal

Psychonauts 2 was announced tonight. And you can help fund it.
The campaign went live on Fig as soon as the game was announced.
As of press time, it has raised $64,056 by 597 backers.
Double Fine said $3.3 million is a lot to ask, but considering the original budget was inthe $10-13.5 million range, and the team wants to match the size and scope of the original, it will take that much in crowdfunding, their own money and investor money to make a worth successor.
The game will be developed for consoles and PC. We spoke with Tim Schafer last week ahead of the announcement tonight. Be sure and check that interview out.
