Costume Quest 2 announced, coming this Halloween to PC and consoles, trailer inside
Double Fine has announced a sequel to its RPG, Costume Quest. The game is set to come out this year for PC and consoles.
Tim Schafer announced the news during the latest episode of IGN's Up at Noon, saying, "I saw [a sequel] more as a demand, I don’t know that I had much choice in the matter," he joked.
"It is that game, you can’t slip that schedule, It’s the kind of game you always want to revisit, there’s such a great core to it," he added.
The game will be published by Midnight City, which is the independent publishing arm of Majesco Entertainment. The label was formed last year.
THQ was the publisher of the original game and the rights were later bought by Nordic Games after THQ went bust. Nordic Games later transferred the rights to Double Fine.
