Zynga treasurer Mike Gupta bails for Twitter

Former treasurer Mike Gupta has waved goodbye to Zynga. Bloomberg reports Gupta will take up a new role at Twitter. It's the second recent loss of a member of the social publisher's finance team following yesterday's defection to Facebook by chief financial officer Dave Wehner. Zynga is struggling to keep its stock afloat amid mass departures and poor quarterly results; it has made significant cuts to staff and portfolio, and is diversifying its business.
