Zipper provides a look at Von Heine Express and Cesspool maps for SOCOM 4
Zipper Interactive has provides a peak at two SOCOM: Special Forces multiplayer maps – Von Heine Express and Cesspool.
Posted below via the PS Blog, the map Von Heine Express captures the spirit of the SOCOM II map, Fox Hunt and was "made for great sniping scenarios." It's set on the coast of Southeast Asia, and features a "makeshift military base that comes complete abandoned train cars."
Cesspool was inspired by the game's Means to an End single-player mission and takes place in "a city slum currently under siege by the insurgents," lead by General Razad. Zipper said the map is "excellent for close-quarters combat-oriented players."
Von Heine Express, Cesspool and seven other multiplayer maps along with 14-mission solo campaigns and five-player custom-campaign cooperative missions will be made available when SOCOM: Special Forces hits Europe April 20.
Known as SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs in North America, the game's beta is currently available to PS Plus members and will ope up to everyone else starting April 6.
