Zeptolab doesn't want to spam you with new games

The developers of Cut the Rope tell Polygon that while they totally are making new games, and they want to get a few new ones out each year, they don't want to be one of those studios that comes knocking every couple weeks.

"We really don't want to become a company that releases tens or twenties of titles every year. We want to have several titles, but they should be good," said Efim Voinov, one of the founders.

"If we can summarize our philosophy, our understanding of what a gaming company should be for us, it's quality. That's why we're very picky about who we get onboard, and we really want our company to be associated with quality. We set the mark with Cut the Rope, and we don't want to drop it down."

Quality over quantity, they say. And since they also pointed out that Cut the Rope has been downloaded 300 million times (!), maybe they know what they're talking about.

Thanks, GI International
