Zen Studios announces CastleStorm for digital platforms

Zen Studios has announced CastleStorm, which will release through digital platforms later this year. The game is described by the firm as a "2D archery projectile warfare and 2D physics-based structure destruction game," where players participating in "real time strategy, resource management, and a variety of different gameplay scenarios." The game features: medieval ballista weaponry, Morningstars, Apple Grenades, Homing Eagles, and flying sheep which players will use to stop the onslaught of enemies trying to capture their flag and destroy their castle. The game will also come with a tower construction editor in order to create custom castles. Watch the video below. The game will be made available on 3DS, moble, PC, PSN, XBLA.
