Zelda producer wants you to know he laughed at Majora's Mask remake question

Eiji Aonuma, speaking to IGN, requested the site "Please write that I laughed" in response to a question asking about a potential remake of Majora's Mask. He then went on to say “it’s really up to [fans]. If they want to interpret my laughter as, ‘yeah, we’re making it’ or ‘no, we’re not,’ I guess that’s really up to them". So that happened.

IGN also confirmed that he did laugh in response to the question, it wasn't merely a request from Aonuma.

"Don’t make it sound like I laughed because I was troubled or inconvenienced or put out. I don’t want them to read anything into it. But if you want to say that I laughed, I think that would be a good answer."

I think the American press tour for Wind Waker HD is driving Aonuma a bit crazy, the poor man. However if this is his odd way of hinting at a Majora's Mask remake in progress, perhaps made for the 3DS by Grezzo, who ported Ocarina of Time, then sign me up. In what's surely a minority opinion, I'm firmly convinced that Majora's Mask is my favourite Zelda by far.

Thanks for that, IGN.
