Skywind is a complete recreation of Morrowind using the latest The Elder Scrolls engine, and if that doesn't sound like an immense amount of work to you then maybe you played a different Morrowind.
The video below shows the Skywind team recording and arranging all new music, creating all new assets, and in general discussing the incredible scope of the Skyrim mod - if you can call it that.
The production values of this fan projects are through the roof, as the team of volunteers works tirelessly to build something worthy of the very special Morrowind. According to the video, the team may even be able to rejig the Skyrim engine to support spears and other goodies.
