You can participate in race events in Path of Exile starting this weekend

During the Path of Exile closed beta, the game featured these things called "race events" where you start a new character and try to accumulate money and level up quickly and generally be awesome at the game while starting from scratch at the beginning of the event. And now Grinding Gear is bringing them back in the open beta.


This time, these races will be structured into seasons, and season one starts this weekend on the 23rd of February. These races aren't just fun and games, though; winners get prizes.
