You can now play the prototype for Keiji Inafune's Red Ash
Red Ash, a new game from Keiji Inafune and Comcept, now has a playable prototype online.
The game, which has eight days left to earn over $300,000 on Kickstarter, can now be played in browser if you have Unity Web Player installed. Alternatively, instructions for how to download the game can be found in the Kickstarter's latest update.
Whether or not this prototype will entice new backers remains to be seen. Red Ash is described by the developer as "a 3D action adventure game with third person shooter elements", which aims to "inject more modern design elements into the classic action adventure RPG formula". If it gets funded, we can look forward to a July 2017 release. Inafune is best known for his work on the Mega Man franchise, and Comcept is currently working on Mighty No. 9, which was also funded by a Kickstarter campaign.
Thanks, Destructoid.
