Yoichi Wada wants to see more Heavy Rain-like games

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada is a big fan of Heavy Rain. Big fan. He even says he wants to see more games like the Quantic Dream thriller.

"It would be good if they made more games like Heavy Rain," he said in a recent interview with Famitsu.

Despite previous worries it wouldn't be, Heavy Rain went on to become a critical success for Sony and Quantic Dream, becoming one of two titles from the first-party to reach the number one spot in the UK this year.

According to Quantic Dream boss David Cage, the game is on course to sell 1.5 million copies by the end of the year.
