Yakuza 5 will be released in mid-November "if all goes according to schedule" [UPDATE]

SEGA has announced it will release Yakuza 5 in mid-November, which is "a little later" than the company said it would have liked. However, the firm has since pulled "the mid-November" release window from its blog post.

Update

Yesterday, SEGA posted on its blog it planned to release Yakuza 5 during mid-November as long as everything remained on track. It has since pulled that bit (thanks, Daredevil) stating that once it has more details it will be sure to share more information.

The original story follows.

Original Post

According to a post on the SEGA Blog, the game is releasing a later than planned due to development bugs which "popped up in the localization."

The developers searched through the source code to find the issues, which apparently took more time than expected.

SEGA said it will be "releasing the game mid-November, if all goes to schedule."

Yakuza 5 is has been available for pre-order on the PS Store for PS3 since August and it comes with all the DLC previously released in Japan.
