XPERIA Play gets a couple more benchmark tests and reviews
New shots and a couple of reviews were released for Sony's PSP phone, and according to the benchmark tests, the pre-release XPERIA Play has 1 GHz of processing power, similar to HTC's Desire HD.
From the reviews, the XPERIA Play UI is similar to the XPERIA Arc and contains 315Mb of space and like most Android phones, you can install a larger memory card if you wish.
Play comes with Timescape, a new Media menu, an a PlayStation Pocket app, which will allow PSN-exclusive games. However, since the service wasn't live at the time of testing, the reviewer was unable to demo any games, or confirm if there will be a PlayStation simulator included.
However, it has been claimed since information on the XPERIA Play leaked that Sony's phone would include assess to PSN.
There are plenty of new shots of the phone as well as the newly revealed specs over on Gsmarena.
The site expects XPERIA Play to be announced during the Mobile World Congress which takes place February 14-17 in Barcelona.
