Xbox Originals to remake Blake's 7 - rumour

Whisperers speaking to the Financial Times suggest Microsoft is producing a remake of classic late 1970's BBC sci-fi series Blake's 7. Microsoft is said to have financed the production but not committed to a full series, and Casino Royale director Martin Campbell is believed to be on board. It's all part of Microsoft's ongoing entertainment push, which includes a Steven Spielberg-directed Halo series and oodles of cable apps. Xbox Originals was also rumoured to be in talks to resurrect Heroes, too, but nothing has surfaced from that.
