Xbox One players having issues connecting to Destiny, looks to be XBL's fault [UPDATE]

Looks like the issues connecting to Destiny on Xbox One were on Xbox Live's end, according to the status update page, which wasn't noted when this was originally posted.

Xbox Live services are back up and running, so sally forth and play some games.

The XBL status pages now notes "core services limited," but Bungie said some players are being let back online.

Original Story

Bungie has said it is aware Destiny players are having issues connecting to the game via Xbox Live.

The developer is "currently investigating" the source of the issue and says to "please stand by."

Various uses on reddit have posted issues being kicked from the game or not being able to log in at all.

According to the Xbox Live status update page, core services are up and running, so it appears the issues is possibly on the Destiny servers end.

We'll update this post when more information becomes available, but downtime usually doesn't last long in cases like this, so things could be resolved by the time we hit "publish" on this post.
