Xbox One Kinect can perform motion capture at home
Team Dakota, developer of Project Spark, announced at Gamescom today that the game, when paired with the new Kinect, can utilise full-body motion capture, facial motion capture, and audio capture. It'll all be available straight away.
Project Spark is a 'game-making' game. A huge number of games rely on motion capture now, so the option to do in your own bedroom is potentially huge. The game will also come complete with some editing and modulation options. We haven't seen any of this in action yet, but it's certainly an interesting prospect.
A new Project Spark trailer was released yesterday showing some of the things that have already been created in the game. Project Spark is an Xbox One exclusive.
Thanks, Kotaku.
