Xbox Live password flaw discovered by five-year-old boy

An Xbox Live password flaw was discovered by a five-year-old boy named Kristoffer Von Hassel in San Diego, and he's been awarded with four free games, $30 Xbox Live credit and a year's Xbox Live Gold membership by Microsoft for the discovery. Von Hassel found when trying to log into his father's XBL account, upon entering the password wrong, he was met with a secondary password verification. All he had to do to gain access was tap the space bar multiple times, and he was able to log in. Von Hassel told his father, who then contacted Microsoft regarding the exploit, and it was fixed by the firm. Von Hassel was not only awarded free games and XBL Gold, but his name was also credited in March 2014's list of people who helped Microsoft discover security issues. Via Eurogamer, BBC.
