Xbox Console Streaming preview starts today for Insiders

Xbox Console Streaming is now available in preview for Xbox Insiders in the Alpha and Alpha Skip-ahead rings.

Xbox Console Streaming, the new system feature that lets you play your Xbox One games on a mobile device, is now in preview.

If you happen to be an Xbox Insider in the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings in the US and the UK, you are eligible to participate.

The first preview of the service rolled out earlier this month in a public preview of Project xCloud.

In this test, you be able to try your owned and installed Xbox One titles on an Android device remotely from the Xbox One console. The games included in the preview also encompass Xbox Game Pass titles.

To participate, you’ll need a phone or tablet running Android 6.0 or higher and a wireless Xbox One controller, which you’ll connect to your device via Bluetooth. Your device must also support Bluetooth 4.0. You will also need upstream bandwidth of at least 4.75 Mbpswith a network latency or 125 ms or less.

You can download the Xbox Game Streaming Preview app from the Google Play Store.
