Xbox 720 scams outed as Major Nelson calls for caution

Xbox 720 scammers have been asking gamers to hand over their personal details in a string of fake mailing list cons. Microsoft's Major Nelson has asked everyone to remain vigilant in spotting the scam.
Nelson, real name Larry Hyrb said on his Twitter feed:
This may sound like common sense to us technically-minded gamer types, but we have to stress again, stay safe and smart people, it's a jungle out there.
