Xbox 360 exec victim of hacker attack

An 360 business exec has found himself on the wrong end of a hacker who didn't like being banned repeatedly from Xbox Live.

Ripten reports that Stephen 'Stepto' Toulouse, the head Xbox Live's policy and enforcement division, had both his Xbox Live account and even his personal blog hacked briefly this past weekend.

The hacker, known only as PredatorSik, posted the details on how he hacked into the accounts via a YouTube video.

The hacker claimed this was some sort of payback for being banned 35 times from Xbox Live. Toulouse detailed the progress of the hack attack on his Twitter page. He wrote on Sunday: "Network solutions has apparently transferred control of Stepto.com to an attacker and will not let me recover it."

Several hours later he update his Twitter page with better news: "All is well, Netsol restored the pointer to my nameserver. I have control of my Stepto.com email again."

There's known word on whether or not Toulouse or Microsoft plan to take any action against PredatorSik, although we're betting his Xbox Live account may be banned for the 36th time.
