Can we get a hell yeah?

One of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era, Austin 3:16 himself will appear on the cover of the latest entry in the WWE 2K franchise.

"I’m absolutely honored to serve as the WWE 2K16 cover Superstar,” said Austin in the press release. “No disrespect to the previous and extremely deserving WWE 2K cover Superstars – Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena – but it’s about time the franchise raised some hell with yours truly on the cover.

"I look forward to injecting a dose of ‘Texas Rattlesnake’ into this year’s game and overall campaign.”

According to 2K, Austin is also involved in shaping the game's "creative direction" via numerous contributions to the game's roster. 2K said WWE 2K16 will have the largest roster and feature set in franchise history.

The Visual Concepts-developed title will be released on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One October 27 in North America and October 30.
