The first of a four-part animated series for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands was shown off during gamescom Opening Night Live.

Part one of the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands animated series, Shadowlands Afterlives, premiered during gamescom 2020's Opening Night Live.

Shadowlands Afterlives focuses on the expansion's four realms: Ardenweald, Bastion, Maldraxxus, and Revendreth. IN it, we will learn more about the "journeys souls take once they cross the eternal veil."

In the first entry, you get to see we are given a look at Bastion. In it, Uther the Lightbringer passes into the afterlife where Devos takes him under her wing, only to learn that "some mortal wounds run deeper than she could imagine."
