World War Z tie-in headed to mobile
Horn and The Dark Meadow developer Phosphor Games will bring its impressive mobile experience to bear on an adaptation of World War Z.
IGN reports the tire-in is headed to mobile platforms on May 30, ahead of the movie's release.
It was built on Unreal Engine 3, which studio director Chip Sineni said will help Phosphor Games fulfil its goal of building a triple-A experience for publisher Paramount, including "ambient occlusion lighting, multipass blended textures and hordes of enemies to fight".
The combat-heavy title features 28 levels, upgradable weapons and armour, and puzzle-solving. Hit the link above to check out a debut trailer and some screens.
Although its mobile efforts have drawn critical praise, Phosphor has been in the headlines lately following a failed attempt to crowdfund Project Awakened, an ambitious superhero game dating back to Midway's final years.
