World of Warcraft retirees tempted with level 80 character, Cataclysm upgrade

If a current subscriber uses a Scroll of Resurrection on your lapsed World of Warcraft character, then you'll receive a number of bonuses including my gosh look at all the things.

WoW Insider reports the Scroll of Resurrection now provides the returning character with a free upgrade to level 80.

The site speculates that returning players will receive a full set of level 80 armour as noted in a recent patch, and that the player using the scroll will receive a spectral mount.

The returning player's account will be given a free upgrade to Cataclysm, the latest expansion, and if that weren't enough, the returning player can transfer to their friend's server and faction for free.

It seems like a good time to woo in new guildies.
