World of Warcraft: Legion Class Trial feature lets you try a class before committing

If you're new to World of Warcraft, a lapsed player or just haven't been paying attention, Legion comes with a rather neat feature.

Blizzard is allowing players to try out a class in the expansion before committing to using up your level-100 character boost. There is one level-100 boost included with Legion, and additional character boosts can be purchased in the shop.

Called Class Trials, players who have the World of Warcraft: Legion expansion will notice an option on the character-creation screen allowing them to create and play a level-100 character. A trainer will be provided to the player as a guide with the new class chosen.

The trial class will have a preset class specialization, but the player will be able to use the character in a tutorial and play it until they acquire an Artifact weapon.

Afterward, if they found they liked the class, they can apply a level-100 character boost to continue with the new toon.

If the player is still on the fence with the character, a boost can be applied later; however, if the character completes the Class Trial experience but is not boosted, it will be locked and unavailable for play until a boost is applied.

There is also a time limit, but players can log out of the character an back in and pick up where they left off. Players can also try multiple classes, and won’t be locked into only one Class Trial, so that's good news.
