Blizzard issues correction regarding class options for WoW's Kul Tiran and Zandalari Allied Races
Blizzard has issued a correction regarding World of Warcraft class options for the Kul Tiran and Zandalari Allied Races.
Class information for the World of Warcraft Kul Tiran and Zandalari Allied Races announced during BizzCon 2018 were improperly categorized, according to Blizzard.
According to an update posted on the Battle.net forums (thanks, Massively), two errors were made in the initial announcement.
Blizzard corrected itself by stating Warlock will not be a class option for the Zandalari Allied Race. It also said it omitted Mage as a class option for the Kul Tiran.
"We’ve discovered two errors in our original communications regarding which classes would be available to the Kul Tiran and Zandalari Allied Races," reads the post.
"Warlock was incorrectly listed as an available option for Zandalari [which] have no connection to fel magic, and will not be able to be Warlocks.
"Mage was incorrectly omitted as an available option for Kul Tirans. While Kul Tiran Mages are relatively uncommon, there are a few prominent examples, and so Kul Tiran characters will be allowed to play as Mage."
Hopefully you weren't planning on flitting around Azeroth with a Zandalari Warlock and are looking forward to a Kul Tiran Mage.
Allied Races were made available with the Battle for Azeroth expansion. The aforementioned Human and Troll races will be unlocked after the Battle of Dazar’alor raid slated for 2019.
