Winning Eleven, 3DS come out top in Japanese charts
Winning Eleven 2012 held off a dating sim to get to the top of the Japanese software charts. Who says it isn't exciting to cover this stuff?
The football title, more commonly known here as Pro Evolution Soccer, 272,000 units on PS3 in its first week. It was followed by Namco Bandai dating sim AKB1/48: If I Loved an Idol in Guam for PSP.
F1 2011 debuted greatly following last weekend's Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka, coming third with 26,574 units sold on PS3.
Meanwhile, on the hardware front, 3DS topped the lot with 58,504, down from nearly 12,000 on last week. PS3 and PSP came second and third.
