WiiWare Europe date remains off limits

While Wii download service WiiWare has now been confirmed for a May 12 release in the US, Nintendo UK is refusing to be drawn on when we can expect to see the initiative in Europe.
"We're not announcing Euro plans on this right now," said a Nintendo UK rep, who also refused to give details on when we can expect to see an announcement.
Games confirmed for WiiWare so far are David Braben's LostWinds and Flash-native disposable Defend You Castle. Braben declined to tell us when the service is to launch just before GDC, saying only that Nintendo was "very sensitive" on the subject at the moment.
