Wii U resellers exploiting demand, charging up to $1,550 for console
Wii U pre-orders have been selling out all over the globe, but re-sellers have reportedly started to take the p**s by charging desperate gamers as much as $1,550 for a console.
Nintendo Life reports that one eBay seller has successfully sold a black Wii U console for $750, while another attempted to do the same for $1,550, but failed to find a buyer gullible enough to stump up the cash.
The gouging comes as GameStop opened a long waiting list for Wii U pre-orders due to the initial run of consoles disappearing rapidly.
What do you make of the prices being charged by re-sellers? Is it their business, or should someone step in? Let us know below.
