Wii explodes in UK, PS3 and 360 sell 1 million units in past year

Chart-Track's confirmed that both PS3 and Xbox 360 have achieved 1 million console sales in the UK in the past year.
According to this GI report, as of September 2008, PS3 has reached 1.4 million units, 360 2.3 million and Wii 3.6 million units.
The numbers show considerable growth from 2007 – both PS3 and Xbox 360 have moved 1 million units since the same period last year, when their installed base was 0.4 million and 1.3 million, respectively.
Wii is the real success story, however - the Nintendo machine has sold 2.5 million units in the past 12 months in Britain, up from 1.1 million units in September 2007.
