Whore of the Orient job ads show 2015 completion date
Whore of the Orient, the new game from the team behind L.A. Noire, is apparently expected in 2015.
As noted in Superannuation's regular Kotaku column, Kennedy Miller Mitchell Interactive is recruiting, and one ad for a senior engine programmer makes mention of an expected 2015 completion date.
Another, for a lead animator, gives a few clues as to the game's form - it's a "narrative action adventure title" in the vein of L.A. Noire, using the same facial MotionScan technology.
The project was outed in November 2011. Developer KMMI retains some of the same staff who worked on L.A. Noire, and although Team Bondi was officially absorbed into the company, its website reportedly hosted information on Whore of the Orient since August, including a first screenshot.
We're still awaiting a full, official reveal, but the adventure is expected on next-generation hardware, and Warner Bros. is said to be publishing.
Thanks, Joystiq.
