Xbox Live general manager Marc Whitten has told Game Informer that plans to integrate Natal and Live are to be break new ground.

The exec refused to be drawn on specific detail as to how to motion-sensor is to integrate with 360's online service, but did drop some hints as to where to look for clues.

"I think Natal is going to be a really magical thing and Natal plus Live is going to be ground-breaking. It’s going to be ground-breaking in games and ground-breaking in... how I think about entertainment," said Whitten, speaking in a broad-ranging interview.

He added: "Live is at the core of everything we do.

"I think you’re going to see us doing the same thing with Project Natal. We’re continuing the journey of how do you make the user experience as simple as possible for the broadest possible audience. You probably saw a little bit in some of the videos we had at E3. I think you can see our passion and where we want to go."

Microsoft's Natal demo at E3 last year showed Avatars playing ball games and moving in relation to users.

Natal's expected at the end of 2010.
