Summer has come to an end. Leaves are changing color, evenings are getting cooler, and good heavens, here come the video games. October is arguably the start of the fall games rush, when major publishers line up to launch new game after game all before the holidays get here. Despite the launch of next-gen consoles pushing things a bit further into November, October's already looking like it will have a few big names in it: Star Wars, Watch Dogs, Pikmin, and more.
Whether it's commanding an army of miniature plant pals to do your bidding or blowing up Rebel aces from the cockpit of your trusty TIE Fighter, there are some big games coming out this month. We want to know: which one are you looking forward to the most?

October is looking like a pretty sparse month for me. Star Wars: Squadrons was probably the highest profile game I was anticipating, and I'm probably holding out next-gen consoles to play Watch Dogs: Legion.
Even though it's an Early Access launch, I'm pretty interested in Baldur's Gate 3. I normally try to wait it out when story-driven games do these early launches, but with Hades, I've already been shown it can be done very well. Plus, with all the different romances, characters, and permutations I could dive into, this early bit of Baldur's Gate 3 seems like the best RPG to hold me over for the month.

I'm hoping to check out a few more things coming later this month, including the not-2077 cyberpunk stories of Ghostrunner and Cloudpunk, but my big game for October is already here. I'm only a few hours into Star Wars: Squadrons, but I'm determined to play the whole story mode from start-to-finish in virtual reality. We'll see if I'm confident enough in my piloting skills to go for the multiplayer after that, but I've been loving it so far.
