Watch two Destiny players defeat Oryx in King's Fall raid, with no help
Two players were able to defeat Oryx in the King's Fall raid with no relic, and no support.
Spoilers for the King's Fall raid to follow.
King's Fall raid, just like Vault of Glass and Crota's End before it, consists of multiple stages. Often, each stage requires a specific skill or a certain amount of coordination from players to be completed.
The final boss fight in this raid is Oryx himself. In order to defeat him, you have to create a window of opportunity to damage him. In order to do that (the short version), one player needs to obtain a relic with the help of his buddies who need to stand in specific spots.
Having the relic is very important, it's the only way to survive Oryx's attacks. After which, he starts to take damage. No relic, then everyone dies. Or so we thought.
