Take to the skies in GTA online.

GTA Online's next big update is out next week with a nod to an old Rockstar PS2 title. Smuggler's Run shines the spotlight on the aircraft of GTA Online.

"Seems like recent events have taken their toll on Nervous Ron – he’s even more on edge than usual, and looking for a new business partner to help take over his burgeoning smuggling empire," reads the latest update from Rockstar.

When you're smuggling dodgy cargo over Los Santos and Blaine County, you'll want to do it in style, and the update "delivers a massive range of new, customizable aircraft" along with hangars to store them in, which will act as the HQ for your new business.

Nervous Ron and your mechanic Charlie will be there to take care of your fleet for you. Take a gander at the trailer to see what's in store.

Following on from all of this flying about, races are being tweaked to make them a whole lot more fun and dynamic.

Circuits will feature land, air, and sea portions, with checkpoints to swap out your vehicle for the appropriate type in a flash. The races will be updated later this year, in the Fall.

The Smuggler's Run update drops next week on August 29.
