The Resident Evil 2: Remake 1-Shot demo is out today for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Unlike most demos, you'll only have 30-minutes to complete this Resident Evil 2 trial. If you can't finish it once the time limit runs out you're out of luck. Or are you? We just happen to have a full playthrough of the demo right here.
The RE:2 1-Shot Demo gives players 30-minutes to run around the Racoon City Police Department as Leon Kennedy. The only limitation is the 30-minute timer. Otherwise, you can play the demo as many times as you want, or retry the demo as many times as you want if you die. Just know that once the 30-minutes are up, the playable portion of the demo locks up and becomes unavailable.
If you beat the demo—or even if time runs out before you reach the end—you'll get access to a brand-new trailer for Resident Evil 2 Remake. This trailer can be replayed as many times as you'd like, even after the 30-minutes are up.
The 1-Shot demo is similar to the one we played at E3 2018 and follows Leon on his disastrous first day as a Racoon City police officer. While 30-minutes should be enough time to complete the demo, it could get tight if you find yourself lost or up against a horde of enemies.
Resident Evil 2 Remake comes out on January 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. For more, check out our Resident Evil 2 guide for trailers, news, release info, and other previews.
