Watch - everything you missed in Monster Hunter World Paris Games Week trailer
Monster Hunter World is among the biggest games at Paris Games Week, and Capcom had a little surprise for those who tuned in to Sony's showcase.
That Monster Hunter World surprise was twofold. First, we learned that you'll be able to play as Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn in the game, complete with her armour set and bow, as well as a set for the Palico.
Capcom also announced an exclusive beta for PlayStation Plus members, due to kick off in December. In the trailer, we got to see the new Rotten Vale map, new monsters, and new weapons and armour. The map in particular is yet another environment completely unique to World.

The Monster Hunter World beta is scheduled for December 9-12. The game is out January 26 on PS4, and Xbox One. The PC version does not yet have a release date.
