Watch Dogs Wii U confirmed for November 21 release

Update: Ubisoft has confirmed the Wii U version of Watch Dogs will release in the UK on November 21. Expect it November 18 in the US.

Original story: Watch Dogs Wii U may finally have a release date, if a Facebook post from Ubisoft Mexico is any indication.

Unfortunately, the post has been removed but luckily, IGN translated it before some poor intern got yelled at and had to pull the status update.

"The wait is coming to an end,” the post read before citing a November 18 release date.

Ubisoft announced it had delayed the Wii U version back in February for extra development time. In April, Ubisoft's Uplay store listed a fall 2014 launch for the Ubisoft Montreal title.

North American releases occur, with very few exceptions, on Tuesdays which gels with the November 18 release date cited. Should the date's accuracy be confirmed, we'd expect the game to launch in Europe the following Thursday, November 20 and in the UK on Friday, November 21.
