Watch Dogs 2 release date leaked, again, with new trailer

Watch Dogs 2 ad have gone live on Twitch ahead of the anticipated sequel's official reveal tonight. While they'll probably be taken down within hours, naturally the ads have been captured and shared already; one example is embedded below courtesy of Steve Kim.

The ads reiterate a November 15 release date, less than a day after banner ads briefly went live on IGN with this same information.

In both cases, it's likely the ads went live by accident - and in this case, it looks like someone mixed up AM and PM ahead of the Watch Dogs 2 reveal.

Oh well! We've all done it, and this particular project has been even leakier than Ubisoft's usual sieves. To highlight just a few examples, it popped up on a CV in April and was mentioned by a motion capture actor in May. Ubisoft even sent gift boxes to influencers and apparently forgot to include an NDA.

Given Ubisoft employs literally hundreds of people to work on its major games, it's kind of amazing the publisher ever manages to keep anything secret at all. Or perhaps this is all part of a cunning promotional plan to keep us in a state of hype for weeks instead of just the duration of a press conference?
