This new Just Cause 3 developer diary gives a behind the scenes look at the game in progress. It's interesting to see how much fine detail goes into the open-world effort's terrain - Just Cause 2 was so enormous it seems crazy that it was built it by hand rather than randomly generated, right?
Avalanche notes that the success of Just Cause has really informed how it works on games. It was also responsible for Mad Max, Renegade Ops and The Hunter.
Just Cause launches on December 1 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
