Watch a Microsoft engineer put together an Xbox One X piece by piece

As part of its E3 2017 livestreams, Microsoft decided to do something a little bit out there: let a Microsoft engineer assemble an Xbox One X from the many pieces that make it.
The segment, which starts at 2 hours and 6 minutes in the video, has Major Nelson, and Xbox Hardware GM Leo Del Castillo show off the different component inside an Xbox One X such as the main motherboard, and the Scorpio engine chip, before touching on things like memory and voltage regulators.
This is also our first proper look at the vapour chamber that's doing all the cooling, something unheard of on consoles. Castillo also touches on how efficient the console is in terms of drawing precisely the power each component needs, which translates into less heat and in turn better cooling.
All of this is supplied by an internal supply, and it's only when it's placed in place that you start to appreciate the engineering behind it. Microsoft event went the extra mile and add rubber feet to the HDD cage to reduce vibration, a touch PC builders would no doubt appreciate.
Xbox One X is out worldwide on November 7.
