Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide has sold 300,000 - free DLC announced
Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide has sold 300,000 units since launch, and the first free DLC content has been announced.
Called Sigmar’s Blessing, the free DLC introduces a number of new features including player control of what loot is dropped in-game. There is also a new altar in the Inn which lets players sacrifice existing loot to improve their arsenal.
New traits have been added to the loot tables and new weapon drops in the “red” loot class are available for the 40 weapon types. Each red weapon features a set trait combination as well.
Sigmar's Blessing will be released on December 3, and developer Fatshark has also outlined some of its plans for more post-release content.
Upcoming content includes a private mode for players who wish to go solo; Realism mode; the ability to remove the game HUD; crosshairs and more. Fatshark will also be adding a survival mode to the game which features wave upon wave of enemies.
Future plans include alternating free and paid DLC.
Vermintide was released in October through Steam, Humble Store, Greenman Gaming, Nuuvem and Gamersgate, and is scheduled for release in Q1 2016, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
