War of the Worlds hitting XBLA on October 26

The Xbox Live Arcade version of War of the Worlds will release on October 26, developer Other Ocean has announced. The studio made the news on its Facebook page. The adaptation of E.G. Wells' book, a side-scrolling platform affair, will introduce new characters and events. Watch the most recent trailer for it here.
