Wadjet opens Blackwell Deception pre-orders
Blackwell Deception, the latest point-and-click from the award-winning studio behind Gemini Rue, is up for pre-order with a pretty sweet offer.
Independent developer Wadjet Eye is offering all three previous games in the Blackwell series - Legacy, Unbound, and Convergence - delivered on a disc plus an immediate downloadable copy of Convergence, when you pre-order Deception.
Deception tells the story of a genuine medium called in to assist in the investigation of a series of murders. All the victims share one thing - they've been sucked in by sham psychics.
Pre-orders and a demo are available on Wadjet's site. The studio's last offering, Gemini Rue, was accoladed at the 2010 Independent Games Festival.
The trailer below shows the game hasn't made much of a departure from the classic adventure formula of the series so far, maintaining impressive production values and noir aesthetic.
