VS. Excitebike launches on Virtual Console today

VS. Excitebike hits Virtual Console today on WiiU in North America.
VS. Excitebike was exclusive to the Famicon, and it's the Famicom Disk version with all of its extra features that will be available to download on Virtual Console, according to the Nintendo of America Twitter account.
As well as additional tracks, VS. Excitebike had a competitive two-player mode, the arcade version of the game, and a mode that lets players create custom tracks.
There's no word yet on a European release date.
