Voodoo priestess Chani revealed for Risen 2: Dark Waters

Deep Silver has revealed Chani, a fourth character for Risen 2: Dark Waters who is the daughter of the Shaganumbi tribe's chief. Growing up in the village of Earthclan, she despises the expansion plans of the Inquisition as much as the pirates which have invaded her home, thus, she's using her voodoo powers to protect her people from the invaders. During his travels in the game, our nameless hero will meet Chani who will find herself torn between "seeing the nameless hero as a threat to her and her people" or finding that he is her only hope to stop the evil from spreading. Risen 2: Dark Waters will release for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in the US on April 24 and the UK on April 27.
